Drink tea in the morning or evening is a good habit for people, even in Indonesian culture also. They believe to starting the day by drinking a cup of sweet tea in the morning will get a good mood directly for doing activities. Many tea variants are made from, such as a tea leaf, rose, chamomile, chrysanth, etc. But for Indonesian people, mostly like a drink a cup of tea leaf and especially is cold sweet tea after eating. The Telang flower was familiar in Indonesia because has a good benefit for healthy. Until now if the people have a baby and the baby has a problem with the eyes, the parents will put the fresh telang flower in water and the water will put inside the eyes after a few minutes. Herbal medicine is a good way for a baby than a chemical because don’t have side effect. Maybe this is one of the reasons why the Funky Kopi served telang flower tea. 

Funky’s Kopi location was easy to get there on Jalan Haji Jali RT.004/RW.002, Kunciran Jaya, Pinang, Tangerang City, Banten and has a building with blue color on the garage by a side of Pinang area highway and gas station at km 14. With a huge garden, the customers who come with the kids will enjoy it because the kids can to running out without afraid of a vehicle. The owner said that “the concept of Funky Kopi is homey, the owner could do deep conversation with the customer like a guest home, not a customer”. And then why the owners choose the name of Funky Kopi it was “spontaneous” said the owner. Mr. Rudi is the name of the owner, he said that was an experience in culinary for a long but as a barista, he learns by himself.

An antioxidant is the one of benefit by telang flower tea for who anyone to drink. So, don’t hesitate to come to Funky Kopi, because the price was cheap too for a cup of telang flowers tea is a cost IDR 5K. The original color of telang flower tea is blue but if put a fresh lemon inside, the color would be changed to be purple and the taste will change to being more taste. The Funky Kopi selling the package of dried telang flowers also a product by themselves with the brand name “Sibulang” for those who want to buy it as a souvenir at the price of IDR 15K. The operation hour of Funky's Kopi is 10.00 am till 18.00 pm.
